Research and study:-

In April 2004 PRASAR has started a study to know the problems of the workers in the stone crushing units in Delhi. The study was named “The stone industry and its impact on workers and environment”. The whole area was covered under this survey and the stone industries in the area were surveyed. The impact of the stone crushing industries was measured and formulated through collected data. This study gave PRASAR an edge over others as they go into the core of the problem.

In about one year later, a “Survey on Primary health and sanitation in Lalkuan” was conducted by PRASAR to know the primary health condition and the sanitation of the area. An in-depth survey was conducted to note all major data and then compiled and analyzed to formulate a comprehensive report on the issue. On the basis of the study report PRASAR went further to place a suit against the Health Department, Government of Delhi.

Another study was conducted in the Lal Kuan area to estimate the number of Silicosis victims in the area.
